'Knesebeck' established museum shows the technical development of the facility from the middle of the last century till the working end of the mine, which is subject of monumental protection.
The only in 1992 shut down ore mine was the last ore mine in the Oberharz.

The museum's landmarkis the 47m high tower. This unique monument was build around 1912 and was part of a water technical facility where for decades compressed air was produced for machines in the pit.
