Historical guildhall in Osterode at the Harz

In the historical guildhall in Osterode, met the town council, which managed the administration business, decrees issued and administered justice. 

The cellar was used as a wine cellar where the public bar was housed.
The ground floor was market hall and department store. 

A fire destroyed the house in 1545. The foundation was used to build the present house in 1552 whereby the annexes behind the house were build in 1861 and 1906.
